We are extremely proud of every pupil and so pleased to celebrate their hard work, effort and achievement.”We not only have some truly amazing individual achievements from this year group, from pupils achieving a staggering 12 GCSEs at grade 9 to others exceeding their challenging targets by over two grades, but as a group, our Year 11s have also collectively produced a record-breaking set of achievements. Pupils performed well across all of the 23 subjects offered at iGCSE & GCSE, with 27 % of pupils reaching the top grades ( 9 or 8/A*) in eight or more subjects and 88% of pupils achieving grades of 9 to 4 ( A* to C) in eight or more subjects. Our Year 11 pupils achieved some amazing GCSE results in 2022, with nearly 70% of all grades achieved being the top grades of 9 or 8/A*. *The Russell Group represent the 24 leading UK universities Royal Veterinary College, University of London.Richmond, The American International University in London.As they continue their academic journeys at a range of higher education institutions around the world, we wish them all the very best of luck and can’t wait to hear about their future successes.” They have not only proven themselves to be excellent students, but through the development of their wider talents and their contributions to the wider school community, have been wonderful ambassadors for the school and superb role models for our younger pupils. Year 13 have faced many challenges over the past two years and these amazing academic achievements are testament to their hard work, determination and resilience, as well as the support and dedication of their teachers. Mrs Sanderson, Principal, commented, “We are so proud of the results of our Class of 2022. The average UCAS points score is a very impressive 150 points (equivalent to AAA) and the school has maintained it’s tradition of pupils achieving outstanding results for their Extended Projection Qualification (EPQ) with all results being A* or A. This is a fantastic achievement especially considering the challenges and disruption to their learning that this cohort of pupils have faced over the past two years. The British School of Amsterdam Class of 2022 have achieved excellent examination result this year with 48% of all grades being the top grades of A* or A, and several pupils gaining four A Levels all at A*.
